Why should I pursue an honors degree?

Honors is a great way to learn

The objective of the Honors program is to help students develop critical thinking abilities through specialized courses and the challenges of designing, conducting and reporting research in collaboration with faculty from one of the world's leading research institutions.

Students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences who want a challenging and intellectually rewarding undergraduate experience should consider this Program. It has flexibility to meet the unique needs of each student, challenge the mind of the independent thinker, and stimulate the curiosity needed for continued learning. The program was established to provide challenging and relevant experiences for high-achieving students.

Students who complete the program successfully will receive an Honors designation on their diploma.
